넉살좋은 사람에 대해 "거참, 배짱 한번 좋군. " 이라고 하는데 영어로는 "What a nerve!" 라고 한다.

"What a nerve!" 는 "참 대범하구나!" "참 과감하구나!" 라는 뜻으로 가령 "What a nerve to go out drinking when you have an interview early tomorrow morning!" 하면 "내일 아침 일찍 면접이 있는데, 술 마시러 나가다니 배짱 한번 좋구나!" 가 되며, "What a nerve to wear such an outfit to church!" 하면 "어떻게 배짱좋게 교회에 저런 옷을 입고 갈 수 있을까!" 가 된다.

"What a nerve!" 와 비슷한 표현에는 "How dare you!" "Don't you have sense enough not to do so?" "How could you!" 등이 있다.
