가령, "I spilt some mustard on me. I'd like this suit dry - cleaned." 하면 "겨자가 좀 묻었습니다. 이 양복을 드라이 클리닝하고 싶습니다. " 가 되며, "I really need to look good for my interview. I'd like this suit dry - cleaned." 하면 "인터뷰에 꼭 멋있게 보여야 해요. 이 양복을 드라이 클리닝하고 싶습니다. " 는 뜻이 된다.

"I'd like this suit dry - cleaned." 와 비슷한 표현에 "I need to take this suit to the cleaners." 가 있다.
