축구 경기에서“게임이 연장전에 들어갔다.”라고 할때의 적절한표현에“The game went into overtime.”이있다.가령“The game went into overtime after a tie.”하면“게임은 무승부가 된 후 연장전에 돌입했다.”는 뜻이다.참고로 야구 경기에서 9회까지 승부가 나지 않아“게임은 9회 이후로 돌입했다.”고 하려면“The game went into extra innings.”라고 하면 된다. A:How was the soccer match between Korea and Brazil? B:Boy,was it ever an exciting game! A:What doyou mean? Tell me about it! B:The game went into overtime with the score tied 2 all.
